I love a little spice to my food, and so I usually bring along a few jalapenos to roast on the grill. They are small enough and it is easy to just throw a few in your bag. I just wanted to add that if anyone decides to do this, it is best to take the seeds out first.

I 'gut' the peppers and stuff them with sausage and cheese , mixing in the seeds with the meat\cheese mix, grill on low or high covered in foil.
