Default How do you like your marshmallows?

Marshmallows are always an issue of some debate in my family since everyone likes them cooked to a different level. I like mine to be set on fire then blown out. You get that nice burnt crispy outside and perfect meltiness inside. How do you like yours?

That sounds about right to me. We just did that the other night. Had a nice little campfire going in the backyard and decided to roast some marshmallows. Some only wanted theirs just a little brown and others of us like them like you mentioned.

I like mine like that too. Not real black, but just enough. I know some too that only want them over the fire for just a few seconds. They don't want them to catch fire. That is really hard to 'not' do when roasting marshmallows.

I prefer a nice brown crust and a nice gooey inside. I really don't like the black from being on fire. It takes patience to do this , and I think the anticipation makes it better.

Just a little crispy is fine for me, but my husband loves the insane crisp that looks like its been on the fire for too long. Kids are picky and always change their minds each time we head out.

I don't like them at all. I'll take my chocolate unadulterated, please.

I like them just lightly browned. I don't like them burnt at all! My kids love to catch them on fire and then blow them out and eat them. Not me though!

Oooey Goooey is the way I like them. So I don't do burnt either. I like to roast only in the coals! I don't roast them over the hot flames. I will eat ones that the kids make me even when they are burnt.

stick them in the fire until they come out flaming. blow the marshmallow, peel off the crusty top, and sip the melted center.

WARNING: Do NOT shake the stick to put out the flaming mallow. When the flaming marshmallow flies off the stick, lands on your tent, and burns the rain fly, you will not enjoy your smores. Ask how I know this.
