Default Ka-bobs on the campfire

Have you ever tried to roast ka-bobs over the campfire? We are going to try this tonight ~ the kids can’t wait. We have the ka-bobs marinating right now so they will be perfect come campfire time. I bought extra long metal skewer sticks so hopefully we don’t burn our hands. Wish us luck!

Yes we have made ka-bobs over the campfire. It's hot! You have to be sure that you get the items on the skewer really good too, so they don't fall off into the fire. We have had that happen!

Good luck!

How did they turn out? We have done this before, but we used chicken so we started cooking the chicken on the grill and then put them on the kabobs for the campfire.

We have done this too and they turn out great. Everything takes its own time so we usually put chicken and pork on 1 skewer and then the fresh veggies on another skewer. The meat takes longer to cook.
