| Your daughter had the right idea, just the wrong equipment. Put the meatballs on a grill rack covered with foil. Then punch a bunch of holes in the foil so the smoke will come through. Quick roast the meatballs until they are slightly crusted on the outside. Absolutely delicious.
And to your daughter I say: BRAVO!
