My son is a big fan of pineapples and cake. You can make this right on the campfire (mini version).
You take a box of plain doughtnuts (I use hostess plain) and a can of pineapple rings. Cut the douchnuts in half and then put a pineapple slice in between. Wrap them in foil and put in coals for about 5 minutes.
Open and serve! Quick and easy dessert - one kids can make themselves.
