Default Pita bread pizza

If you happen to have a grill pan, you may grill some pita bread, spread tomato sauce in it, some mozzarella cheese and your favorite choice of toppings. I make it when in the mood for a camping snack treat.

This sounds really good! Me and my daughters love to eat pizza and I could even buy stone ground wheat pitas and make it healthier. Thank you for posting this it's a great idea!

Now that is a truly a great snack for camping. What toppings is best used for this type of pizzas? I love mushrooms but we need to cook the mushrooms very well for us not to be poisoned so I don't know how to cook the mushrooms well while camping.

I am going to have to try this one when we go camping this year. I am always looking for something new to cook at camp.

My family is all about pepperoni - I can tell this is going to be a new favorite with us as each person can get their own personal "pie." Thanks for sharing!

Sounds yummy! I will include this in my camping menu. I have never thought of making it before as our camping snack is more on soups and sandwiches.

That does sound good but I have never ended up learning how to properly get pita bread that works. I think I need a new cookbook or something.
