Default Preferred method of cooking?

What do you prepare most of your meals on while camping? Grill, campfire, dutch oven?

I do mostly the campfire, but do bring my grill with me.

Fire, grill over fire, dutch oven on coals, Coleman stove, canned beef stew sitting on the dashboard of my car in the hot sun. I'm not too picky as long as there is some form of dead animal on my plate.

We do most of our cooking on the grill but we take a coleman stove with us. We just cook so much on the grill at home that is what I am most comfortable with.

Caned beef on the dash of the car? Gross! We cook over the camp fire and on a grill. I've never used a Dutch oven before so that is out. We also cook on a griddle on the stove.

Grandpa, how's the Volcano working out?

Still unused Judy. We finally had a couple of days with some sunshine but used them in the garden. In the meantime, we also have a couple of stove top dutch ovens (no legs) so I'm not starving for good food. We normally have a big family outing over memorial day at a forest service campground near hear, but it is still under snow this year.

I'll let you know how the volcano works as soon as we try it.
