Default Shishkabob

Have you ever tried cooking shishkabob (spelled "shish kabob" sometimes) on a camp fire?

This dish is, generally, a definite hit with the children. It's a meal on a stick with fresh veggies and meat - what more can you ask for?

I love shishkabob! Yes, you are right, it really is a perfect camping meal. Cooking it over a campfire isn't much different than doing it on a grill---very easy.

I love them, but do not make them very often. It always seems like an after thought to me.

Earliest form of cooking, hunk of meat on a stick over a fire.

That is one of our camping stables. Not much preparation, easy to cook, and so yummy. We have thought of some crazy concoctions to try out while camping, good times!
