Default Spicing up burgers

What do you do to doctor up your burgers? We are always looking for ways to doctor ours up but it’s gotta be something that the kids like. What spices or what not do you add to the burgers to make them different?

We just add meatloaf mix and then toss them on the grill. I love burgers but for me it's what you put on them not in them. I'm all about the toppings!

I sometimes add a bit of teriyaki sauce on my burgers. Really tastes good. Works well on turkey, too. Once in a while, I mix up the meat with some finely chopped mushrooms.

The only thing I care to put into a burger is my teeth. Now, onions on top of the burger are okay.

I like to put onion soup mix in the hamburger with some creole seasonings. They usually come out nice and juicy with a little extra flavor.

We will put the onion soup mix in our sometimes also. It does an a lot of flavor to it. As to the spices, usually just a little season salt will do the trick. Don't really like them to spicy.

I usually don't trek very far,
when around me good hamburgers are.

Hi...

Yes, I also like to dress up my hamburgers (no...not in little skirts). Sometimes I'll add some mild canned chilis, or some Heinz 57 sauce. Other times I'll add a thin slab of bleu cheese and cover it with A1 sauce. All are delicious. I've also used French or Thousand Island dressings on them. Yummy.

Gotta go. I'm salivating on my boot tops...!!

Garlic salt and "real" oak or mesquite wood fire.
