Default Stained Thermos?

So you have a stainless-steel thermos and need an easy way to clean it? Get some generic type denture cleanser tablets. Fill it up with warm water add a couople of tablets and allow them to fizz for about 15 minutes. Dumb out and clean witha soapy water and bottle brush then rinse. Should be cleaned. For heavier stains, you may have to repeat.

For stains you can also fill it with bleach. It will take out stains but not hard water deposits. I have used vinegar and baking soda for hard water deposits but they are horrible to try to get out. I think I'll use your trick next time to see if I can get those deposits out. Thanks Jason!
