Default Clamdiggers! What is your favorite recipe for fresh clams?

I go beach camping as often as I can and we dig clams in season. I have one great recipe which I'll share other than your basic steamers. I'd like to collect different types of fresh clam recipes. We love clams!

Recipe is for 4 people

Requires 2 large kettles

Clean and put at least 4 lbs of clams in a cooler on ice until ready to prepare.
Steam the clams first, over and open beach fire.

I use a double, large cross log fire with hot coals in the center. Fire looks like two, side by side number signs. ## I balance a kettle on each number sign. Hot coals are a little lower and in the center of each number sign.

Cook 1 package of linguine noodles until done and put into a strainer - set aside. Reuse kettle.

Use 1 kettle to steam clams and the other for the broth below that goes over the noodles and clams.

Broth:

2 bottles of Clam juice
1 onion chopped fine
1 large fresh tomatoes chopped fine
1 cup of buttery white wine
1 fresh garlic clove minced
1 handful of fresh chopped parsley
Grated Parmesan cheese

Put everything except parsley and Parmesan cheese into kettle number 2. When the broth reaches boiling. move it back so it can simmer for about 2 minutes.
Pour broth over linguine noodles and open clams in the shell and then toss parsley and grated Parmesan cheese on top as well as fresh ground pepper if you like. Serve with a glass of buttery, white wine and bread.
