| I have never used mushrooms as a main meal. When we go mushroom hunting in the spring, we bring the deep fryer. First you soak the mushrooms for several hours in salted water to clean them and to kill the bugs on board. Then you bring them out, let them drain, coat them in the breading of your choice and deep fry. Mmmmmmm. I'm hungry for morels and it's just now turning winter. I wish I could find enough to freeze for the winter months!
