Default Comforting thought

At work they recently gave a talk about how to prepare to survive a natural disaster and all the things you should gather up. It occurred to me that we have most if not all of that set up and ready to go in our trailer! It's kind of a comforting thought, you know?

That's good Susie, Most people have a lot of things needed for survival once they stop and take notice. 50 gals of water stored in a water heater, bedding, etc. With just a little extra preparation, and with a little extra awareness, the difference between surviving or dying can be bridged.

Ask any emergency person what things people try to save when their house catches fire. Sad but hilarious sometimes. The young couple that managed to get a great big king sized bed out but left their wallet, purse, money credit cards etc to burn.

Hey, man, priorities. They're newlyweds.

Young couple - you say? Well, that's strange... If we were talking about an elderly couple, I would assume they had all their lifesavings hidden under the mattress.

@ Susie, what kind of natural disasters? A trailer could hardly save anyone from a flood, no matter how fast your car might be...
