| We have had both. We started with an old motorhome and we liked it all except we didn't like not having a car to drive if we needed to leave the campsite. That was a negative for us. Also having to have maintenance and insurance on the motorhome didn't really play well in our budget. We decided to go with a popup trailer and its worked out great for us. Only downfall for that is we are limited to only towing the trailer when we go on trips. We can't tow the boat or motorcycles.
Really you trade one for the other. You just have to really weigh your options and make the right purchase for what you will be doing. Good luck with your choice
