Default The window cracked :(

My husband just called to let me know that one of the larger windows on our camper has cracked. Do any of you know of a way to keep it from getting worse until he can get to the dealership?

I believe if you tape it it should help. I think I have also heard of people putting things like super glue in the crack. Not sure on how either works though.

How about putting plastic over the window and then taping it. I wouldn't use glue, it might cause more of a problem and cost more to fix.

If you tape it, it will help temporarily. Don't forget you'll need someone on both sides of the glass to apply equal pressure to keep from doing further damage when you're trying to tape it. Make the tape a couple of inches longer than the crack to assure adequate coverage.

Man, that's horrible! I hope everything is still under warranty. I hate when something like that happens to a vehicle. I try to keep every vehicle I have in great condition so I can get a good trade in value.

With the way that a crack spreads I can't see tape helping a lot. Really you need a repair-even if it is only a crack repair kit from an auto shop.
