Yup for me it's important to mention the tools used in various skills but not "focus" on them so much, oh and they are fun too. I do have way too many but try to give each one just a little woods time so there is no jealousy building up between them.

"Way too many" - you mean like more than you need? (although "need" is such a harsh word when applied to knives...)

I'm getting ready to make a folding knife with a hawkbill blade and yew wood scales. Every time I make a knife, I end up with 40 or 50 hours into it, but at least I'm not spending money in the bar...
