I don't know if it's a survival kit or not, but every morning my pockets get loaded as follows. RF= keys,small swiss army with a flashlite attached and a pocket pen
LF= mini,mini mag lite,cash and chapstick
RR= wallet
LR= bandana and small note book
LS= black sharpie,glasses and square carpenters pencil
RS= cellphone
small loop on right side= 3" locking knife
and a leatherman on the belt
Defiantly feel naked if any 1 is missing, but the only time I need anything is the few times I don't have it.

I don't even think of it as survival stuff anymore, it is just the things I carry every day now. I carry a knife, mini mag flashlight, matches, lighter, leatherman, and a gun of some sort with an extra mag clipped to my belt every day. We also keep BOB's in both vehicles along with a couple of boxes of "spare" ammunition, couple of gallons of water, blankets, and a first aid kit.
