| I have learned 2 things about movies. Don't trust critics, and don't expect anyone from Hollywood to have a clue about the outdoors. That said, I find any movie with the Man against Nature theme to be irresistible, even if the main activity is suspending my disbelief.

| I'll wait for the DVD. I hate going to the movies anymore. But I'll watch this one on DVD.

| Hi...
According to Outdoor Life's web site, in the movie The Gray, cast members are pictured eating wolves.
So, the director had cast members actually eat wolf meat before filming...!! Some of the cast barfed...according to the article...but Liam went back for seconds...!!
The wolf meat was donated by a local Canadian trapper near the area where they were filming.
Would you eat a wolf?

| If my plane had crashed in the Alaskan wilderness, in a heartbeat if I could kill it before it ate me.

| Meat is meat, if I have to do this to stay alive, I'm calling it a sandwich!

| Asking the question of would you eat it, is really kind of silly. Most of us rarely get really hungry. It is sobering to talk to people from other cultures, or grand parents that lived thru the Depression.
Historical accounts of western exploration are frequented by the consumption of what ever they could find. Things like owls, donkeys, beavers, porcupines, horses, dogs, etc.
The Lewis and Clark Expedition practically lived on dog meat for part of the trip along the Columbia because they didn't like salmon.
