It’s almost time to put the tents away! We have had a tent set up out back all summer long but it’s coming to an end. It’s getting a lot cooler out school is starting up. Anyone else have a tent set up with kids in it all summer?

We have an old Army tent we leave set up for the kids to play in in the back yard. They played with it all summer long. I don't think we will stop camping just because it's a bit cooler though. I like to camp in the fall weather. Winter now, is a different story for me.

Naw, I like to go until way up in the fall. I'm like you, Qweetzy about winter camping. I don't like to be out when it's freezing but I don't mind fall weather. The campfire feels so good in that type of weather.

I backpack in three seasons. Summer is the season that I don't got out as much. Like going out in the winter just take different cloths and a warmer sleeping bag.

I have camped out year round as well only skipping a few winters since they were hit the hardest and we were snowed in. When you can not get out of the driveway do not expect to get down the road and out in the woods.

I like to camp in the winter, but one of my kids health does not permit it. Every winter we go back in to a world of sick that doesn't end until the summer. I only hope this year is different.

You guys say"It's over" but for me and Peg it's just beginningThe first day the temp gets below 90 we kick into high gear readying the camper and boat checking suplies etc. Summer down in Cajun country is just too hot to enjoy camping. During summer we are reduced to an ocasional fire in da yard. We are all excited this morning cause the high for today aint forcasted to be but 92 Close enough, I think I'll go start charging batteries and checking propane bottles

We will still camp, just not in our backyard. With school starting up Monday it's too hard to camp outside. We always set the tent up on the last day of school and leave it up.

Down south we are just cracking them open, finally cool enough to get out and camp.

Canoe season is almost over and backpacking season is starting up. Can't wait to test out our new ultralight tent. AT, here I come.
