Cost of tent repair kit

I just bought a tent repair kit for 12 dollars. I think I got a pretty good deal, but I can't tell. With the kit I got the following:

2 pole splints
Two No. 8 double zipper slider coils
4" x 6" No-See-Um patch
3" x 10" clear Tenacious adhesive patch
seam adhesive
No. 69 olive green bobbin
No. 18 sewing needle, chenille
No. 16 sewing needle, yarn
4 safety pins
Seam ripper
deodorizer
PDI alcohol towelettes

Did I get a good deal?

I've heard it said a man will spend $20 for a $10 item because he needs it and a woman will spend $10 for a $20 item because it's on sale. If you are anticipating a tent problem and this kit keeps you from having to abort a vacation then it was worth it. If this kit keeps you from getting wet some night on a trip then it was worth it. If this kit is going to kick around in your possibles box for 10 years then it wasn't worth it.

Most of the stuff in that kit I would have no use for. My tent repair kit contains 3 pole splints, duct tape and some needle and thread.
