Default Dome tent for four?

Can anyone recommend a fairly light weight dome tent for four people and possibly a dog? Two of the people are small kids so they shouldn't take up much room right??

Some to check out are the REI Half Dome, Marmot Limelight 4, Sierra Designs Yahi 4, Big Agnes Jupiter 4 and the Kelty Trail Dome 4.

Of those the REI Half Dome and Sierra Designs Yahi 4 might be the best values.

I would suggest a 6 person tent. You will be suprised how quick it fills up. I've been using Coleman tents for about 9 years.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. We actually did decide to get a coleman 6 person. We also got a 4 person for when it's just the two of us and the dog.

Good choices Southerngal. I don't know why they try to cram 4 people into a 4 man tent. they don't fit. Just like a 20 degree bag is only comfortable to 30 degrees.
