Default How long to set up

About how long does it take you to set up your tent? Do you like help or are you someone who likes to pretty much do it yourself? The last time my hubby and I tent camped he was miserable and it took about 45 minutes to set it up! In the end he wanted to do it alone!

Alaknak 10'x12' probably takes a hour or more.
5th wheel, about the same amount of time and has A/C.

My two person dome tent takes around 10 minutes. More if the kid tries to help. My Hammock about three minutes, a couple more to include the rain fly.

Of course I'm not counting finding suitable spots.

Seems like forever if my wife helps me, especially if it's raining dogs and cats. The cats tend to cave the tent in and I have to start all over again. My, I am in a strange mood today.

5-10 minutes for the backpacking tent. Around 2 minutes for the hammock unless I need the tarp (not often). Probably 15 minutes for the car camping tent unless I have help, then maybe 10 minutes.

I have a 3 season 1 person Coleman backpacking tent. I set it up myself, and it usually takes me maybe 3 minutes. I've never used a stop watch or anything, but that's what it seems like.

5 minutes.
my tarp shelter takes a little longer because it's not free standing and the tent poles are homemade hiking poles. maybe 7 minutes.
