When I was younger and dumber I used to try and break all of the rules posted at campgrounds. I had to try and remember to bring fireworks, firearms, and a chainsaw, and a CB radio. We already had loud radios, dogs, and plenty of alcohol.

Like the old German guy said- "too soon oldt, too late schmart."

This is so true, I personally can get wasted and I'm not stupid (well not disturb the peace stupid) but if you cant handle your liquor don't drink it...

Actually, my wife did when she was pregnant with our second child. Of course, she did it rather quietly, and we weren't camping during that time. But the smell of the steaks she was cooking was enough for me to get of bed and join her.

I have no problem with drinking and camping (a nice Chardonnay and a sunset can be quite relaxing), but I detest a loud obnoxious drunk.

That being said, I don't think it always takes alcohol to make people obnoxious. Loud, unruly children in the morning can be just as bad.

Many people consider that camping in a tent is the same like making an alcohol excess and don't think of their neighbors, it's really annoying. Well sometimes if I like these people I like to join the fun But most of the time I just want to sleep bit it's not possible! *sigh* It should be a common etiquette to respect other campers!
