So when's the yard sale?

I prefer foam. Figured if the inflatable one got punctured it'd be the end of padding for me.

I don't like inflatables. Foam is the way to go for me. They are very handy and quick to use. True, they take more space but since I attach them to the outside of the pack it doesn't matter.

I have a Cabelas self inflating pad that's OK. Could stand to be thicker, and I always need to blow it up some to get it firm. I'll probably get a thermarest before long. As my bones get older I find I need a bit more distance from the ground.

I like Big Agnes. Three inches thick packs to the sized of a Nalgene bottle. I have the insulated air core.

Just got a thermarest pad for kids. longer than the 3/4 length pads, more comfortable than the ProLite Plus, and cheaper than the Trail Lite. So, to sum up, it's cheaper than their cheapest self-inflating backpacker models, more comfortable than the ultralight models, and almost as long as the full length pads. Perfect.

That is a good demonstration and it seriously looks very comfortable. It's not very big and it wouldn't be that hard to blow up. I LIKE IT! Darn it, now I'm going to have to go shopping. LOL

I've used my trail comfort 2" thermarest very little since I got the insulated air core from Big Agnes. Easier to carry, lighter and more cushion.
