I always strive to make my gear as light as I can. Sometimes trimming a few ounces means spending a few thousand dollars more, which is not that good. Regarding tents, I will go as light as I can, without compromising the quality, thus durability of it.

my ultralight tent is much tougher than the heavy tent I sold.
