Default Aspen Trees

I used to live in Colorado many years ago and one of the best memories I have of that time is hiking in the fall and seeing the golden yellow quaking aspen trees. Eastern mountains are very colorful but those aspens are in a category all by themselves.

I lived in Colorado in the 1980s and really enjoyed the aspens; especially when they turned red and orange. There are some high passes in the state where the rocks are red and orange and the trees turn the same type of colors. It does not look real, more like reality thru a strong camera lense filter.

Nothing like rocky mountain fall with the yellow aspen, red mountain maple and green evergreens all blending with a backdrop of high granite peaks.
