I just got back from a short hike near the White River in Vermont. It was freezing cold but clear and sunny. The highlight of the day came in the form of a Bald Eagle fishing in the river. I've seen them high in the sky before but never actually fishing. It was quite a sight. I feel very fortunate today.

Sounds beautiful Geezer. That's a sight I've never seen though I've seen plenty of bald eagles and even saw some eaglets in a nest with binoculars I never saw an eagle catch a fish before. It would definitely have been worth braving the elements today.
Wow, that sounds like a scene directly from a wildlife movie, or tv show. All I can do is invision it in my mind, and I'm sure I'm not even close to the real, magnificent beauty of it!
