Bangor Cave Alabama

I guess I have found a new interest in caves. I was looking up some possible caves to explore, and found Bangor cave. I do not think you can go there now, though, because it is on private land. The interesting thing about the cave, is that it was turned into a casino/night club in the 1930's! How crazy is that? Does anyone else know of a cave, that became something like this?

I believe Lehman cave in Great Basin NP was used by the locals for Saturday night dances and parties back in the time before it was taken over by the Park Service.

I saw a tv show one time where people were turing caves into homes. I can not remember where. It seems like it was out west somewhere.

I can not wait to go on our next trip, hopefully it will happen in July. We want to visit a few places this summer and pretty much any cave is on our list since its new to us. Any tips would be great from the experts too!
