![]() | Because of the dangers of this sport and the weight of the equipment, I think you have to be of majority age to be able to learn to scuba dive. |

![]() | That would make sense to me I think you would at least have to be a certain height or weight (big enough for the equipment) even if you don't have to be a certain age. |

![]() | I think the age is not the only thing to consider here but also the size of the body. There are kids who are thin and they might not carry the tanks on their backs. There are scuba gears for children because I've seen some discovery shows where the children have these little tanks on their backs. |

![]() | Depending on where you get your certification at, the minimum age is 10 or 12 years of age. You must meet certain health requirement, be able to swim at least 200 yards and tread water for 10 minutes. |
