Regarding megeladont sharks, they did exist many thousands (?) of years ago. Since a shark's newer-growing teeth push the old ones out, the old ones fall to the ocean floor.
There are areas in the world where these megeladont teeth can still be found on the ocean's bottom. These huge teeth are great collectors' items.
As to whether or not they may still exist, I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
