Default Getting Rid Of Chiggers

I had a hard time last summer because it was so wet, with getting chiggers. I would itch really bad so I guess I must have a sensitivity to them. I finally took a bath in bleach water but I really don't want to do that again. Is there any way to get rid of them besides the bleach water?

Try dabbing on a bit of clear nail polish over the area. It closes off the chigger's breathing hole in your skin and will kill them. They also sell a product at outdoor stores and some drugstores that is supposed to kill them.

I've never had chiggers-what is it exactly? Is it some kind of parasite-I don't want to go google and end up all psychosomatically itchy! Either way I hear that bleach baths are recommended for eczema so its not too dangerous.

We have a serious chigger problem in some of our local parks and they used to cause me agony. Then I found this all natural eucalyptus spray and it actually kept them away from me. Maybe it would work for you so you could prevent the problem before it starts. The only thing is, it works only for chiggers and not mosquitoes or anything else.
