Arghhh! Our last three camping trips have had to be canceled because of rain rain and more rain! We were going to try and go this weekend and now...more rain!

I know the feeling. I used to live in NC ... and the rain forecast would change daily! Now, I live in norther California. It doesn't raid a drop here from April until late September. I never thought about the weather once when planning trips. It sure was nice.

Soon, however, I'll be moving back to NC ... and once again I'll have to deal with the rain.

Good luck on your next trip!

I think there's nothing worse than getting all psyched up for a camp-out and then having rain spoil it. We got rained out quite a bit this year too. The kids just completely wimp out when it rains.

There is nothing worse that actually going camping on what is suppose to be a nice weekend and then it ends up raining. At least you knew ahead of time.

We missed alot of camping weekends this summer because of rain. Hopefully you can get a few good weekends in.

I know what you mean. It was a lousy summer here - we ended up with about 6 weeks of real summer. The rest of the time was colder than normal and lots of rain. Lately, it's raining every weekend so can't even get the yard buttoned up for winter.

If you don't freak out about mess, sometimes it can be fun camping in the rain. The kids love to go out and play in the rain, so it doesn't really effect them. I think that the parents are the ones who don't like camping in the rain.
