Southern costal camping

So, me and a few college buddies are going to tow the popup and do some camping in the south this spring break. We are trying not to break the bank on reservations($20-40 per night). We will be staying march 25-29, the only requirements are- showers/bath houses, drinking allowed, water and electric and beachfront campsite.

anyone have some suggestions?

Bahia Honda state park in Florida offers camping right on the beach. Enjoy !!

The Outer Banks in NC has sites right over the dunes from the ocean that allows pop-ups. March is cool, but my favorite time to camp there.

I agree with Judy Ann. Head to Morehead City, NC and then take the Cedar Island Ferry over to Ocracoke. It's like going back to the 1960s and heaven on earth. You can then take another ferry and drive up Highway 12 and end up in Nags Head. There is plenty of room for camping on the beach and in the State Park. You won't regret it.

Check out Myrtle beach state park in SC. Haven't been in years but seem to remember most of what you are requiring.

I'm with Hazel and Bahia Honda. I lived in the Keys for a bit and it was one of my favorite places to go. I didn't do any camping there because I lived nearby, but it was a beautiful place to spend the day.
