When I used to camp alone, I would just sit and listen to the cracks and pops of the fire or lay on my back and stare and to moon and stars. Every now and then, I'd bring some bagged wine and have a few glasses to get all toasty inside.

Well, I don't like crowds, but I don't like going alone either, only me and one friend that is also a hard core hiker. Talking by the fire is just about right for the end of the day, planning the day after...

I help my girlfriend cook for our dinner while others would play games or sing around the fire. If in a lazy mood I would just take a short afternoon nap before dinner is ready.

We usually play games, charades or cards. We'll have our smores or other snacks around the fire and talk about our day and what we will do on the next.

Dance or sing when there's a music in the group. I would also help cook food for all of us and share stories about life's experiences.

We usually just sit around the campfire talking and my husband has an old acoustic Gibson guitar that he brings with us so sometimes he'll play while we talk.

If it's not cloudy, we will look up at the stars and try to see if we can see any satellites. You can pick them out because all of the stars wont be moving, but the satellites will kinda be moving quickly through them. They tend to look like stars too so you have to look REALLY HARD to spot them. Other than that, I'll play some David Bowie on the acoustic or take a few pics and video to document the trip. We also bring out a portable beer pong table that we set up at every campsite. all we have to do is set up a few lamp poles and we're good to go. Drinking in the wilderness is FUN!!! Other than that, just hang around the campfire and bond with friends, family, strangers, and the wilderness.

I think we do about the same but depending on the time of year the adults might have a night hunt, you would be surprised what drunk people in the woods look for when given clues.

When the night is still early, we usually share funny stories. As the night goes deeper, then creepy or scary stories will be told.

There are times when we are too tired to tell stories around the camp fire so we just lay down and find the constellations until everyone is asleep.
