Default Exercise and fun

I am looking for something that both works to give me a little bit of a workout and also for fun since I will be going around our areas with the kiddies. I have not been on a bike in years other than a street bike and I do not think that counts. Help the newbie!!!

There are a lot of bikes out there, I'm sure you can pick something up cheap. It all depends on what to are looking to spend and quality overall. If it's just for something to knock around on with the kids go for Walmmart special, you can get a good buy there for a bike with shocks and multiple speeds.

If there is a bike trail near you, there may be a place that you can go to rent a bike. This would actually give you a chance to try out different bikes and get a feel for them. That might help you to decide what kind of bike you may actually want to buy.

I am not too sure of a trail just yet I was hoping to stick with the streets in my area since they tend to have some hills (some insane hills too) but for trails I can not do just yet since I will have a little one with me (doubt she could handle it right now).
