Wearing a helmet, or not, is a simple question of odds. What are the odds? | Same thing for seat belts. I know of an individual who survived a major crash without wearing a seat belt. The three others inside weren't so lucky, one was not belted and killed when he was thrown from the vehicle, the other two who were belted...one died, the other is spending the rest of his life in a wheel chair. It's all about the odds and if your're a gambler. I chose not to wear a helmet.
