Default Finding places to ride your ATV

Do you have trouble finding places to ride your ATV? My friends usually ride on their own property because there aren't many places around here that will let you ride.

Seems like it's getting harder and harder to find a place to rider anything anymore. Too much liablity letting folks use your land to ride on.

There were more places to ride around here, but unfortunately a few troublemakers damaged a lot of the fields and stuff and property owners complained to the Police and Town Council and now they are cracking down. The Mayor said they weren't going after the responsible ATV riders, but we are still being penalized. It only takes a few irresponsible people to ruin it for everyone.

I'm kind of lucky in that I have quite a few places less than a two hour drive to go riding.

My problem is that I can never find anyone to go with.

I did join the local ATV club, and tried going on a few rides with them. Then it got to where a couple of "cliques" formed, and it was about impossible to get to go on one of their rides. Half the time I never knew about the rides, and when they did invite me it was usually the same morning they were leaving, and they were leaving in 30 minutes, and I live about an hour away. When I did get to go I felt out of place.

None of my friends have ATVs anymore, so mostly if I want to go I just have to go alone.

We have lots of trails around where I live that allow ATV's. I guess I am lucky too. I live in an area where we are close to the country trails but also close to the city.
