Weight limits

Do you really pay attention to the weight limits that they have on 4-wheelers? I have noticed that when my daughter or son ride on my 4-wheeler that we don’t have as much speed. I’m thinking it might be the weight limit. My kids are teens. Do you pay attention to the limits?

Oh, we pay attention all right. Throw half an elk on with a driver and watch the suspension sag all the way out. Just go slow so we don't break an axle.

I have not been on an ATV, since I was younger, but my parents always made sure us kids followed the weight limits. I know plenty of people, though, that ignore the ATV weight limits and their ATV still runs fine.
