Default Training your own

I work with a woman who owns many horses. She is up there in age so she takes her horses to someone else to train them. She does go there often to see her horse.

Anyone else send their horse away for training or do you do it yourself?

Whenever you ride you are teaching your horse. Some get better, but some get worse. Most trainers concentrate on the owners, after horses get their foundations under them. Almost all horses behaviour is a direct result of their training, and experience.
