Don't give them any ideas:tinysmile_twink_t2:Hi...
If you can't afford it...it's a luxury...!!
As an aside, there was a time when they wanted to place a tax on steak...!!
T:tinysmile_fatgrin_those are for people who are too long on money and too short on, well you know.Custom knives can be great but some cases are just moronic in a lack of a better word. I saw that Chris Reeve Sebenza, some anniversary edition, went to $2500.
I'd love to see pictures! Of the knives that is...I don't want to get slapped!I know a man who makes custom knives out of deer antlers and car springs. They are amazing to see. He sells some of them, but keeps most. He also makes leather sheaths for them.
I remember visiting when I was a teen. I do not know what he uses to grind the antlers down, but the process stinks to high heaven. You never forget this kind of smell. It smells like burning hair only ten times stronger.
I'd argue it's only moronic if you can't afford it and buy it anyway. You have to realize these knives are made for collectors not for Joe Sixpack. Some people collect stamps, some knives.Custom knives can be great but some cases are just moronic in a lack of a better word. I saw that Chris Reeve Sebenza, some anniversary edition, went to $2500.
Yeah but you get free shipping. And if you have more money than brains, it's acceptable. Is this the thing you were speaking of Chris Reeve Knives: Sebenza Folder - KnivesShipFree.com They look great but c'mon, it's insane to spend that amount of money on a knife.
No one can persuade me that this knife has some function and quality to justify that price. You can find that same steel/design/strength for $200, which is also a high estimate.I agree, insane
