Michigan Shore to Shore Trail

Trail runs along AuSable River from one side of the state to the other.The 2week trail rides start June 2011 from Lake Michigan and will cross the state, ending at Lake Huron. Trails are open year round for horses and hikers. Other group rides as well.

Close to the waters edge, with a 30' drop

Rollaways - that is an area where loggers used to run logs down into the river. It is the area across the AuSable that is all sandy

This is just before reaching McKinley. This was part of a 27mile ride
