    Glock Handgun Anyone?

I've been thinking of buying a reliable firearm, for protection and for the range. I'm thinking about Glock 19, which is one size down from standard Glock 17. Any experience with this gun?

    Metal Detectors

I think there is the catch. You first need to investigate where can be found what and then do the search. You could do it anywhere though but this is way more interesting when you know what you might find.

    Online Backups?

I use a small flash drive to backup daily data and to secure it. Flash drive is easy to carry but for more data external drive is needed.

    Front Load Backpacks?

Have you seen or perhaps used these? They have a standard back portion like any other backpack but they have load wearing capability of the front as well, which is supposed to balance the weight better than a standard backpack.

    Safe Gas Transport?

I never had any problems with my stoves and canisters and the only thing I do is keep them out of the direct sunlight and of course the campfire.

    Armor Vests?

I see a ton of people owning them and doing reviews online about them. I'm not sure they are illegal in all states. Then again maybe those are just gear bearing vests not the ones with armor panels.

Do you still read printed books?

These days even when I can read on my computer something that is longer than one page I usually print and read on a paper. I'm tired of reading computer screens.

    Must have back country items?

Some people just love the nature and don't think a lot about gear. A lot of friends of mine actually won't talk at all about gear before the trip. They just pack a hatchet, firesteel, tent, sleeping bag and rations.

    Cheap Hosting

Thanks guys! The point is that the site itself won't be of that much importance which is why I would like hosting to be cheap but reasonably reliable for that price.

    Condor Bushlore knife

I like scandy grind knives and this one is a real beauty! The price is what brings me down every time, but I know that you can't have supreme quality without it.

    Online Backups?

Thanks for the answers, I will keep that encryption tip in mind when I backup. What I usually do is archive the file(s) first to reduce size and thus speed up download time.

    Cheap Hosting

I've been having hard time finding some reliable hosting that is also cheap. I wish to start my own blog and don't want to host it on existing public services. Can you point me in the right direction?

    Online Backups?

Some suggest that you should backup your data by using online hard drive services. How reliable is this actually and how safe would you feel to do this?

    backpacking base weight

My day packs are very very slim and they usually weight below 6 lbs. Overnighters get very large very quickly. But that doesn't matter if I plan to setup camp where I will then leave all the extra stuff.
