I had the same problem a few years ago when I was making jewelry. Two days before Christmas, with three gifts left to make and my mother in law calls me and asks for a necklace for each of her sisters. She has five sisters! I didn't sleep for two days, but I got everything done on time.

I haven't ever done it, but I know people that do. I also saw someone snap their wipers off when trying to pull them up. They didn't realize that even though the snow and ice hadn't actually hit yet, that they wipers were frozen.
