My Dad used to have a 1951 Jeep pick up. It had a 283 Chevy engine and the original 4.88 :1 gears. It was highly modified. It broke every time we took it anywhere. I almost got killed in it. He offered to give it to me and I said no. We called it the "Death Machine."
