    Bikes with small motors

Does anyone know if bikes are made with small motors? I would like to ride my bike to work this summer. It's only about ten miles, but there are some serious hills along the way.

    Boat heaters

Although it is in the 30s where I live, I would take my boat and fish if I had a decent heater. The boat is equipped with a canvas enclosure (sort of like a tent). Can anyone recommend a good and safe heater?

    Lewis and Clark

I have been meaning to do some reading about Lewis and Clark for some time now. I'm reading Undaunted Courage this winter. I highly recommend it. It has been facinating. I'm up to the part when they have returned to St. Louis after making it to the Pacific.

    Best fishing lures

What fishing lure seems to catch you the most fish? I would have to say that I do best with the Rapala X-Rap. I have caught lots of different species with these in particular.

    Weber 100 gas grill

Last season I finally had had it with hauling around my small charcoal grill, and I bought a little Weber 100 gas grill. What a luxury to not have to haul charcoal and starter! I highly recommend this item.

Saw ten eagles the other day

We got snow the other day and I noticed the mountain in the distance looked pretty white, so I took out the binoculars to take a closer look. As I was scanning the landscape I caught sight of an eagle, then saw a few more, and a few more until I had counted ten. It's always a good day when I...

    The Yukon

I have been quite curious about the Yukon and have been reading up about it recently. I'm considering a trip there in the next couple of years. Has anyone ever visited the Yukon?

    The Yukon

I have been doing some reading about a biologist who spent a whole year hiking with his dog from Yellowstone up to the Yukon. He stayed on public lands the whole way. I would love to see the Yukon---ever go there?

    Bourbon apple pie

My wife made a bourbon apple pie for Thanksgiving, and it called for a whole cup of bourbon. Have you ever done one of these? It was a tasty pie, but I thought it was a waste of good booze.

    Nature reading?

I like to read about the natural world during the winter. I recently read two very good books about wolves written by experts on the subject. This is a controversial issue where I live, so I wanted some facts. Doing any nature reading this season?

    Glacier National Park

Have you ever spent any time in Glacier National Park? I have never been there, but I would like to go this summer for two or three weeks. Any recommendations on the best sights to see?

Bike seat relative to the pedals?

What is the correct way to position your bike seat relative to the pedals? I have not ridden a bike in years, but I would like to get back into it.

    Tenderfoot needs good boots

I have a narrow foot and I suffer from plantar fasciitis. Can anyone suggest a good hiking boot? (How can someone who loves to hike as much as I do have such tender feet??)

    Paddle boarding

I guess that paddle boarding is kind of the new thing lately. I have seen quite a few folks around here doing it. Have you tried it yet?

    Not warm enough yet

The water in the lakes here is still in the upper 40s where I live. The fish just won't bite when the water is this cold. Agony, as I have been ready to fish for a month!

What is it about a fire?

What is it about a fire? I heat my home with wood, and love to sit and watch the fire. In the summer I build a campfire most evenings. It must be some kind of primitive instinct or something.

    Managing for native species

Our state has put emphasis on managing its fish resources for native species while trying to diminish introduced species that did not naturally evolve with the habitat. Some people here are in an uproar about it, but I llike the idea. What do you think?

    "Secret" fishing spots

Do you have "secret" fishing spots that you will tell no one about, or are you pretty open about where you get your fish? I'm open about SOME of my fishing holes, but not all of them.

    "Boat camping"?

Have you ever done any "boat camping"? There is a lake nearby that has islands you can camp on and the only way to get there is by boat. Sounds like a blast to me.

    All systems are go

I just pulled the tarp off my travel trailer last week and checked out all the systems. Last year, I had issues with my water pump and my refrigerator. This year everything is working great. How about your trailer?
