The best investment I ever made, (except for marrying grandma) was my $10 lifetime senior parks pass. It's still a bargain even at the new $90 rate. It gets the whole car load in free and I don't even have to be driving.

Thank God we got ours 10$ and it has paid for it self 100's of times over. Many States honor it also giving half price or better if ya flash it. Staying at a beautiful fishing lake wilderness area in louisiana one of our favorite local camp spots cost us 12$ a night.

A senior pass is great. But no one should complain about the costs associated with entering a National Park or staying at a campground. It costs money to maintain them and we are way behind in maintaing the infrastructure.
