Maximum number people you cooked for?

In India we actually cook for minimum of 10 people for a house, even though there are only 5 members in house.

I asked my grad ma see said that the extra food is cooked for the unexpected guest and also labor who work with us.

Do you follow such thing in your country and what the reason?

we believed in indian culture and we think guest is our god so buddy same things happen in my house aswell.
we have to cook food for labour.
and we have to give them pickle and papadom aswell.
i think it is good to make food for someone.
