This is three of three. Thank you for the feedback - everyone is welcome to do the same. Sure would like to hear about other people's experiences.

On another note - the daylight is measurably longer - starting to get that summer itch feeling.

A tent with a stove is the best, A small tent with a heater is okay if you can ventilate it.
A lean to like a Whelen with a fire is surprisingly comfortable even in the snow if you can hunker down out of the wind.
