  • 1 gallon water
  • 1 ½ cups molasses or Honey
  • ⅓ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger (ground)
  • Dash of lime juice
Mix together and put in the fridge over night.

I guess there are a few different varieties of this. Tried it this weekend and enjoyed it. They say it is a good replacement for things like gatorade. Here is a little history on it. https://www.almanac.com/content/history-switchel

sounds good that much honey would make it sweet and since we have a freezer full of lemon juice we would sub it for the lime.

I learned to drink red beer from the guys who harvest hay and wheat in eastern Washington. Equal parts tomato juice and beer. Really good in hot weather.

Maybe you could liven it up with a little Everclear.
Which reminds me of scene from a TV show.
A young lady orders at a bar "Do you have any Everclear?" "No, sorry." says the bartender. "Okay, then, I 'll have a Diet 7-up."
