The bumper crop!!!

When all ya have is a 4x12 garden box for veggies ya gotta take advantage of the seasons. We put 36 contender bush beans in the ground back in mid February. We had to cover them several times but they all came up and I just picked the third time.:tinysmile_fatgrin_t

I won't be planting green beans for another 3-4 weeks.

Looking good. I've just been getting some blueberries and some strawberries still. A tomato here and there.

I know I said last weeks pan of beans was the bumper crop but now I aint so sure.:tinysmile_fatgrin_t yesterday afternoon I picked another pan full about the same size. We had a week of cooler than usual weather which seems to have extended the season. I snapped them while watching tv last night and put 4 more big fat quart bags in the freezer and shared a bag full with our neighbors.
